Yes, Lambert's is an example of what is missing in ALL of those Giant Supermarket Chains--Exceptional, Personable, Friendly Customer Service. Family-run type of place, I’ve been going there for 8 years. But it's more then just a Market; their salad bar/deli is delicious with a huge selection. So FRESH and CHEAP!!They even have ORGANIC foods too.You have to check out their large selection of flowers, come Spring…totally worth it!!!
Pros: AFFORTABLE, FRESH, OUTRAGEOUSLY FRIENDLY STAFF!!!!

I've never called, so I can't comment on their telephone customer service, but I've had great customer service inside the store - especially at the deli. I have been going to Lambert's since childhood. I'm in my 30's now and moved from Boston in 2001, but I still make sure I get to Lambert's on EVERY trip home to stock up. Their deli meats are fantastic, their produce is fresh, and their seasonal items are great!

AWESOME place for sandwiches and salad bar! I have been going here for over 5 years and highly recommend it. Granted Thanksgiving/Christmas time they cut back on the salad bar to allow for the pies and home baked goods for the holidays. Worth the $$.

I called Lambert's to get some info on products. I spoke with Sean the "manager". He was lacking in all areas of customer service and had zero product knowledge. What a waste of time, I rather go to Wilson's Farm in Lexington. Wilson's Farm is much more helpful and the produce is better. Now that this market is over saturated with choices like Whole Foods that are putting the Mom and Pop store out of business, customer service is the way to win consumers business, perhaps someone should inform Sean of this. I will NEVER go there!
Pros: None
Cons: Sean "the Manager", Produce.
