You must have a slice of their delicious Sicilian pizza!! It is fabulous and I haven't met one person who thinks otherwise. I'm not sure about any other food there. The pizza is a bit pricey, but it's Harvard square. Pinocchio's is sort of hidden from view, it's behind Berk's shoe store. I would recommend getting the pizza to go since the place is kind of small and gets really packed by 12pm.

Pinocchio's does not impress me. Not because their pizza tastes bad, but because it does nothing to be really delicious. Harvard Square employees and college kids swear by it as a cheap-eats location, but the pizza doesn't stand out. Try Crazy Dough's Pizza in the Garage instead.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Tiny dining area

For the three years I lived in Harvard Square, I probably went here over 150 times solely for their sicilian pizza. From plain old cheese and pepperoni to tasty zucchini or tomatos and basil, I could eat their pizza 7 days a week. I don't care for the steak and cheese sandwiches, but others order them about as religiously as I order the pizza. And since 2 sicilian slices cost about $4, it's a cheap way to eat wonderfully.

Pros: Sicilian Pizza, cheap

Cons: cold, drafty seating in the winter

Great sicilian pizza. Great steak and cheese. It's my favorite place for pizza on the planet.

Pros: Great pizza.

If you like thick sicilian slices of pizza, this is the place to go. It cannot be beat. No ambiance, but with pizza this good, who cares?!

Pros: pizza

Cons: parking

This is the best pizza in Cambridge, hands down. Fresh, tasty, delicious. You'll have a hard time deciding which kind to get.

I've only eaten here once - 5 years ago - and yet the taste of their incredible pizza sticks in my mouth. They are off the beaten path, very small place, but they were packed with college kids recovering from a night of partying. I crave them every time I order pizza, I just wish they delivered. It would change my life. It is so hard to find good pizza. These guys have it. Just a plain cheese slice will do.

Pros: Best pizza ever

Cons: No delivery

I've been going to this small little hole in the since high school (late 80s/early 90s). I loved it ever since and it really hasn't changed at all. The Silician slices are to die for, and they have a wide variety including great choices for vegetarians. I agree with the other review about the cheesesteaks. Try them with everything (lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and HOTS). I know it sounds wierd on a cheesesteak, but it's one of my favorites.

Cute, unpretentious pizza place- good place to grab a quick, yummy slice.

Insider Tips

Parking

The parking spaces across narrow Winthrop are inviting and usually empty, but they're private and you'll probably get towed before you get away with a pie. Best parking on a busy evening is the garage on Eliot Street ($3 for the first half hour).
