The first time I went to Wrights was 1961 when I was just a kid. The food was good then and even better now. I'll be honest, a couple of times out of probably 60 visits, the chicken breasts were rather dry. But I keep coming back and am not disappointed. Sure, I like fine dining, too, but Wrights is a down home family, note the word "family" restaurant. It's a place where people bring their kids, aunts uncles and grandmothers. So it is rather noisy and always crowded. It's always nice to sit at the bar and have a cocktail or two. They give you a token with a number and when they call your number, get ready to tie on the feedbag! Pros: Great food and inexpensive (especially for "all you can eat"), friendly service, the gift shop is nice if you're into that sort of thing. Cons: Crowded inside and out. You're lucky if you can find a spot to park Very noisy Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
Pros: excellent chicken dinners and all you can eat
Cons: very crowded and very noisy

i have been hearing/reading rave reviews of this establishment so i thought it was finally time to check it out for myself. i have concluded that the reviewers to whom i was exposed were totally high when they ate here! KFC would've tasted much better! the chicken was nothing special, no "secret" recipe. the rotisserie at Shaw's would be comparable. fries were soggy masses of oily potatoes; Burger King fries are way tastier & crispier! the salad was limp and reddened with some non-descript dressing. bread...ahhh...bread is good, i mean, how can you really screw that up? the place is like a loud pubiscient cafeteria with lunch lady waitressing. you don't have to believe me; spend your hard earned fortune and check it out for yourself...especially if you're high!

Huge disappointment!!!! On our second visit, we encountered at least two insect sskittering across the table, the "chicken" tasted like fish, lettuce was brown and wilted, it felt like we were in a cattle drive...waitress was pleasant, and understanding...management was not...stated if we didnt like it, we didnt have to come back...seems like they rely on a regular crowd who will forgive the shortcomings, despite the lack of quality. Bella's up the road a very pleasant affordable alternative

We used to go every week but now we don't go out of our way.. Fries have been hard and crunchy. They were much better dark and less crunchy. The chicken also is on the dry side now. Stale rolls are making way to the tables also. They need to get it back to what it used to be.

Not like it use to be! I moved out of state and could not wait to go back to Wrights. I finally convinced my family to make the long drive only to find the pasta was crunchy-lettuce was brown and the chicken was dry! I was very disappointed!!!!

This is really banal food! Every time I visit my family they want to visit this place and I have to throw a fit and tell them it is not good food...at best pedestrian at worst inedible.
Cons: , very blue collar food, iceburg lettuce!

My uncle turned me on to Wright's a few years back and it is awesome! The service is great, the food is even better, the food is there almost instantly, and you just keep eating :) I have since moved to FL, but every time I make it back to RI, Wrights is an absolute must! I plan my schedule around it. I am going through Wright's withdrawls down here! I highly recommend Wright's Farm!
Pros: Great Chicken, Food quickly served, Very friendly staff

Wrights Farm is one of the worst places I have been to. The treat you like a herd of cattle. Rush you in, then rush you out. The salad is soggy and the chicken dripping with grease. Don't waste your time at Wrights, go down the road about 5 mins to Village Haven, or the Pines

I have been going to Wright's Chicken Farm for over 30 years and I love it. I have recently moved from Massachusetts to Seattle WA and other than my family and friends what I miss most is Wright's Chicken. When I do make it back home you can be sure Wright's Farm is on the MUST visit list. Until then if only I could figure a way to get a take out order from RI to WA. Ughhh I miss my Wright's nites... Keep up the good work Frankie, Roger and the crew....I miss you all. ^i^
Pros: Great Food, Great People, Great Value

Wrights Farm is clearly for the person who enjoys a good chicken dinner without the wait. The service is prompt and the meal begins with no delay. The food is always delicious and never a disappointment. There is a waiting list for people that are looking for employment, which makes a statement how they treat there staff and there staff treats the customers. Well done.
Pros: good food, good service, inexpensive
Cons: open seating plan
