Would go there more if there were more patrons. Every time we go in, it seems like we're the only ones there.
- Pros: Good food
- Cons: There's rarely anyone there
Patriotism carries over way beyond interior design at this Irish drinkery.

The Scene
You won't find anyone at the door doing any sort of ethnic background check, but this Smith Hill neighborhood spot is more than the sum of its cardboard shamrocks and the green color scheme carrying over into the bathrooms. In fact, the pub is no stranger to issues of social consciousness, and often acts as the backdrop for relevant fundraisers.
The Draw
Pool table? Check. Darts? Check. Big screen TV? Check. Live music? Check. So give the bartender a break by just ordering beer because whoever is tending bar is usually also busy working the outer reaches of this smoky church basement-like room as waitress and bus person, too. If you insist on a mixed drink, make sure that you're not overly thirsty. Your concoction will arrive in a container about the size of a juice glass.
