The Bartenders are terrible!!!!!!!!

I love this place but the bartenders are ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Worst service in the city by far. I've been going there for years and the same lame bartenders have been there. Theyre depressing and never thank you when you tip. If it had halfway decent bartenders it would be superb. It's a great place cause of its location and its patrons.

Great place spring to fall

I love grabbing a drink and just sitting out on the deck. Staff is friendly enough. Drinks are reasonable. Being on the water helps this place a great deal.

Longevity tells it all

If longevity counts for anything obviously the Hot Club is doing something right. You get a very good mix of people from suits to jeans from young to old. Reasonable drink prices and decent service. In the summer the deck is open with a seperate bar. The club sits right on the Providence River. I have spent many summer days that started with a few drinks for lunch and found myself leaving at midnight! The only downside is the parking, lot only holds maybe 10-12 cars and on street parking is basically nonexsistent. It also can get very crowded and busy in the summer with winter months being very quite.

a real biker hang out place. its been in business for 25 years and what can you say . anyone who enjoys night life has been to the hot club

great drinks and incredible bar scene. i love the place. hell the movie something about mary what shot at this bar. so if you like cameron diaz then you like the hot club

Love going to the Hot Club, in spite of the new inept servers. Great drinks at a great place. The crowd's always great, also.

The Scene
How many bars can you name where you can blow off work and hang out for the day without making your loved ones worried? Positioned on the Providence River, this respectable watering hole is a great temptation for those itching to play hooky. One piece of advice: Wait for summer, when the long, pier-like patio provides beach-like comforts minus the irritating sand.

The Draw
It wouldn't take an astrophysicist to figure out why the 30- to 40-something crowd is so incredibly chatty and upbeat. (It's not the sea air.) The secret is the strength of the mixed drinks that everyone is toting around in plastic cups. If you're tired of looking at the Fox Point Hurricane Barrier, boats docked nearby and the city skyline, then head out the front door to the sidewalk, where you can check out the impressive collection of Harleys usually parked there.

You Should Go!

The Hot Club is great! In the summer after work, if the weather is nice, there's no place like it.

It gets a good crowd, weekend nights can be a little more annoying. It does get a nice mix of people & is definitely about a zillion times better than the Fish Company next door. Not as many *meatheads.*
