Fun time, Good prices, Good people
by halfonit
If only I lived closer to Providence I'd go here more often. This is s good place for any sport fan who likes to hang out and watch some TV. But if you want to dance and meet some new people, then there is a room to do that too. Prices are reasonably priced and the staff and management are all friendly and very social. The only thing that is bad about Snookers is actually getting there. It can be a pain finding it if you've never been before, but once you're there, it's worth it.
- Pros: Price, Attitude, Atmosphere
- Cons: Just finding the place
This is a great place, but there are better...

Has anyone been there since the renovations? I stopped in this weekend to hear what the buzz was about and was AMAZED! The Green Room has been replaced by an ultra plush, swanky lounge. There is an outdoor smoking deck ..which the bartender tells me will be open with a fully stocked bar & frozen drink machine once the warmer weather hits. Place looks totally different. Food was EXCELLENT...try their new Tex-Mex spring rolls.
- Pros: Great Atmosphere, Good DJs
- Cons: Parking
A music venue that first and foremost beckons pool players and their friends who love them.

The Scene
Judging by the banners listing the names and years of tournament winners, it's pretty obvious that billiards is taken seriously here. But little things like retro metal gas station signs, fringe dangling along the edges of the overhead table lights and soulful tunes on the sound system give Snooker's a funky edge. Here, head bobbing to the beat between shots is just another part of the game.
The Draw
With a full bar, the question isn't what to drink, but where to drink it. There aren't many stools at the small bar, and those prime seats go quickly. People make this pilgrimage to play pool. Depending on the day of the week, time of arrival and the number in your party, one hour ranges quite a bit in price.

Maybe Larry, Moe, and Curly were your closest relatives...since you can't be at all serious! I live in Charleston, SC now and Snooker's was always a great place to play, chat, swig, or swing...It's an ecclectic classic outdone by none for Friday night chillin...maybe you need to shake around some of those noodles Snookems!
