Instead of going to another restaurant my brother suggested Gregg's, one of four like it in the state. He and my mother had been there before and liked it. Normal standard fare they said. On the internet, the reviews were mixed but more people liked it then not so we went. There were their famous sliced cucumbers were okay and the rolls were fine nothing to write home about. The area is spacious and it was not noisy at all. Appetizers chicken quesadilla was very good with guacamole, bits of tomatoes and sour cream side for sides. Crisp, enough chicken and the taste was quite good. Their orange sweet potato crinkle fries were excellent and fried just right. Chipotle like dipping sauce with it was excellent. The buffalo sauce was too vinegary. My main dish (and nephew's) was the Philly cheese-steak (a la RI) sandwich on a kaiser. It was very good with tasty grilled beef strips with some onions and little bits of cheese (some would more but I liked it with this little bit of cheese) . My mother's broiled (non breaded) scrod was excellent broiled just right. My sister-in-law liked her Chinese chicken salad. My brother liked his burger. The restaurant makes their own desserts. The chocolate cake with pudding like filling in it was chocolate and excellent. The waitress was very good, helpful in deciding on certain entrees etc and served us well and was gracious in all ways. She helped us (me mostly) decide on which items might be good to try. Reasonably priced, good tasting food, many items to choose from (the new menu), I would rate it as a good place to go for lunch or dinner .

My husband and I wanted to have a relaxing evening but that did not quite happen. We did not have to wait but that's about it. The service was VERY slow and the food was completely tasteless: we had ordered two different kind of chicken but the only difference we could find in the plates was the sauce in a small cup! Dessert was not much better. Why pay more than $30 for that when ordering a pizza would be better! If you likw good food, find another place!

Greggs is one of the best places to take your children and families. I am 11 years old and I love Greggs. It is a great place to take children, your familes, and relatives. With very good prices, great food, and fantastic deserts! My favorite, is the famous Death by Chocolate Cake! It is simply the best desert I have ever had. If you want to go to a great restaurant with your family, Greggs is the place to go!

My friends and I decided to have a nice diner at a local Gregg's Restaurant. The food is great. Be Prepared to wait for a table. This would be the only problem I have with the place, I think they should expand the room size to compinsate. If I was to recomend something, it would be the Chicken & Broccoli Italian. It has every thing and more, Fresh grilled chicken tossed with broccoli, black olives, hot and sweet peppers with linguene pasta in a garlic parmesan sauce. Verry tasty. They give you so much, I had to take half of it home. Gregg's is the way to go. Dine in or dine out. But if you do decide to dine in I stronly recomend making reservations. They also have a catering service so you and your friends can get together for the big game and chow down some awsome food.

Pros: Great food, Great service, Cakes

Cons: Long wait for a table

My family decided to eat at Gregg's last friday. The food, service, atmosphere was great. I recommend the seafood pie, its loaded with shrimp scallops, clams, calamari, and fish all smothered with newburg sauce and toped with a crispy crust, mmmmmmmm...... My kids loved playing with Greggy the dinosaur every friday night as he dances and hands out bolloons to the kids. What a nice night out with the famaly. If your looking for some entertainment I would plan a weedand nigth at Greeg's Restaurant.

Cons: bad parking

Greggs is great! The food is always delicous and the staff is very good. The variety is incrediable and the desserts are fabulous. Ive been to three of the four Greggs and have always had a great meal. The Stanleys Meatloaf is awesome (and i usually don't like restaurant meatloaf). Greggs is open late and if I'm comming back from the airport or in the area late Greggs is a great alternative to the usual fast food choices that are left with late at nite. I've never had a bad meal at Greggs, plus the homemade pickles are the best. and you can take home thier wonderful pies, cheesecakes, or other desserts.

I enjoy Greggs when I want a quick hamburger club with a chicken soup (excellent soup by the way). The ambiance is family style, with large seperate booths for privacy, the servers are friendly, the food is good. Greggs is a good, wholesome family restaurant with a lot of choices on the menu and the prices are very decent. Take the kids, they are welcomed. Greggs is best known for its desserts, which are out of this world! If you want, you can check out the dessert display and order a cake or pie to take home. I reccomend it for a weeknight early dinner because it does get crowded on weekends and later after 7:00 pm.

Pros: Great food, Great service, Great parking

Cons: Gets crowded, Must go early

waitstaff handles food without wearing gloves. tables are wiped down using only tap water and the same towel over and over.....germ invested. I've witnessed these events first hand.

Cons: health hazard
